Type of Abstract Presentations
The ISSWSH Annual Meeting 2017 will feature two types of presentations:
- Oral Podium Presentations: will be granted 6 minutes to present, followed by 4 minutes discussion.
- Posters are presented as non-discussed posters only, to be exhibited on Saturday February 25, 2017.
Oral Podium Presentations
The rooms at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta Buckhead are equipped with notebooks/laptops and all presenters are requested to project data directly from this equipment. Therefore, please hand in the final version of your presentation in PC-compatible format (PowerPoint recommended, but other formats are possible) on a USB stick no later than 90 minutes prior to your presentation. We recommend that you store an accessible copy of your presentation on-line either on the meetings’ Presenters’ Portal (login: see e-mail) or on your own personal on-line storage (e.g. webmail, on-line docs or cloud).
Important Notice
The organization is seeking for accreditation by the American Medical Association (AMA) to provide continuing medical education (CME) credits to physicians. The ACCME has implemented a regulation for abstract submissions. Therefore, we kindly ask you to make sure that the abstract presenter will submit a disclosure declaration form by January 10, 2017.
Posters
The maximum allowed height of your poster is 4 ft (122 cm) and width is 8 ft (244 cm). All posters need to be in landscape style. Material for attaching the posters to the poster walls will be available in the poster area. We advise you to use the template poster file when creating your poster.
Digital Posters on Website
In order to give all participants the opportunity to view all posters without any hurry, all posters will be published on the official meeting website. Please submit a digital version of your poster via the Presenters’ Portal.
Poster Exhibition
The poster exhibition is open to all meeting delegates on Saturday February 25, 2017: from 10:30 am – 07:30 pm.
Please hang your poster on Saturday February 25 between 07:00 am and 10:00 am and remove it after het poster session. Posters not taken down in time will be removed and disposed of by the Meeting venue.
Poster Session
A poster session, including drinks and food is scheduled on Saturday February 25, 2017: from 06:00 pm – 07:30 pm. As an author we kindly ask you to stand by your poster(s) during this session.
