  • How much is registration?

  • Why is this meeting different from the ISSWSH Annual Meeting?

    • This meeting will take place of the ISSWSH Annual Meeting

    • An exciting array of speakers and topics will delve into many aspects of female sexual function; and with the influence and expertise of the ISSM, the content will include the impact of the partner and the couple on women's sexuality.

  • What are the instructional courses?

  • Can I register for the instructional courses onsite?

    • Yes. If there is space still available, you can add on as many instructional courses as you would like to onsite at the registration desk.

  • What are the SIGs (Special Interest Groups)?

    • Groups that have been identified by the committee as areas of interest to members who would like to explore or discuss the topic in depth without a formal lecture or session.

  • Do I have to register to attend a SIG?

    • No. These sessions are optional and do not require a separate registration.

  • What if I go to one SIG and am not interested?

    • The SIG sessions are not CME credited. If you go to a SIG and decide that you are not interested in the topic you can try a different one.

    • Please be respectful if entering the SIG once it has started.

  • The SIG I am interested in is full. What should I do?

    • You can go to a different SIG.

    • If you would like more information on a SIG you were unable to attend, you can email the ISSWSH Executive office and they can connect you with the leader of that group.

  • How many CME credits is the meeting?

  • How will I get my CME certificate?

    • You will receive an email after the meeting asking you to complete an evaluation. Once you complete the evaluation you will be able to print your CME certificate.

  • What time does the meeting start?

    • The first session will start at 12:15 pm on Thursday, March 7.

    • Pre-Course sessions (requiring a seperate registration) begin at 7:00 am on Thursday, March 7.

    • Registration hours will begin at 6:30 am Thursday, March 7.

  • When will I get the slides?

    • You will receive an email a few days before the meeting with log in details for the online syllabus.

    • The online syllabus will have Full Screen presentations for better viewing on tablets or laptops as well as Printable presentations with 2 slides per page.

    • The 2 slides per page is designed to help you save on paper when printing the slides. You can print the Full Screen, however, keep in mind some presentations are 50 slides or more in length.

    • The online syllabus prior to the meeting may not contain all the slides, as we can only provide the slides that were provided to the Executive Office prior to the meeting.

    • Faculty like to update and adjust their slides right up until presentation time. All updated slides will be available AFTER the meeting has concluded. You will receive another email letting you know the online syllabus has been updated.

  • I am not a member. How do I get the member rate?

  • What should I wear?

    • The attire for the meeting is business casual. Keep in mind that meeting rooms are often cold, so we suggest dressing in layers or bringing a light coat or sweater with you to sessions if you tend to get cold easily.

    • Average temperatures for Atlanta in early March range from 42 degrees Fahrenheit in the evening to 66 degrees Fahrenheit during the day

  • What should I bring?

    • Something to take notes. There will be a lot of good information so bring a notepad and a pen, so you can get it all down.

    • If you want to view the slides and take note on those, you will need to bring a printed copy with you (printed copies of the slides will not be provided).

    • A tablet or laptop is recommended if you would like to be able to view the slides electronically. (Make sure that it is charged every morning, as there are no outlets in the meeting rooms.)

  • Are meals included?

    • Lunch is included on Friday and Saturday

    • Breakfast is included on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

    • If you registered for the optional Pre-Course on Thursday, March 7, breakfast and lunch are included in that fee.

  • Can my spouse / chlid attend meals?

    • Meals and breaks are budgeted for attendees only.

 

Airport and Ground Transportation Inforamtion

  • To / From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL):

    • Taxis: One-way fares for Atlanta airport taxi transport to the hotel average $42 plus tax, depending on traffic and availability.

    • Airport Limousines: One-way fares for Atlanta airport limousine transport to the hotel range form $90 plus tax - $150 plus tax, depending on vehicle and number of passengers.

    • Car Rentals: Travelers arriving to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport can rent a car from several companies. Located on the first floor of the airport.

    • MARTA: Travelers can board the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) train within the airport. Train fare is $2.50. Train service runs from 4:45 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. on weekdays and 6:00 a.m. -1:00 a.m. on weekends. Trains depart every 10 minutes weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends. From the airport, Grand Hyatt Atlanta guests should board the Northbound train (N to North Springs). Exit at the Buckhead Station N7 onto Peachtree Road S. The hotel is two blocks away. Guests also may call the hotel at +1 404-237-1234 to request pick up from the courtesy car from the Buckhead Station stop.
