ISSWSH COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL
ISSWSH is fully committed to holding a successful in-person Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX in March 2022. The health and safety of our meeting attendees is our first priority as we continue preparing for the ISSWSH 2022 Annual Meeting. ISSWSH is carefully monitoring Texas State guidelines and those issued by the CDC as they relate to COVID-19 protocols and holding conferences in-person.
Attendance at the ISSWSH 2022 Annual Meeting requires additional measures and ISSWSH has implemented policies to mitigate the risk of infection and the potential health consequences associated with COVID-19. All attendees will be required to complete the “Waiver of Liability”, which is part of the online registration, that includes the following procedures in addition to other items:
- Everyone attending must provide proof of full vaccination OR, if not fully vaccinated, must provide proof of a negative PCR coronavirus test within 72 hours of their first day at the ISSWSH 2022 Annual Meeting.
- Regardless of vaccination status, registrants are asked to refrain from attending the meeting if they have been exposed to COVID-19 within the 14 days preceding the meeting or are exhibiting any of the following symptoms that the CDC recognizes as being associated with COVID-19, including but not limited to: fever, cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
- Face masks are required to be worn when indoors at all ISSWSH Annual Meeting activities.
We will ensure that hand sanitizer and masks are available at the registration desk. Due to the necessity to continue social distancing, especially while eating, pre-packed food items will be provided for any meals (boxed if possible) which will allow attendees to take their meal at a location outside of the indoor meeting space.
ISSWSH will continuously evaluate and update our plans and guidelines as new information becomes available and as environmental conditions change. We will continue to share all updates on evolving COVID-19 preparations as we actively work to plan for a safe and productive event.
